@swapnil
Thanks a ton buddy Hats Off
Did'nt really expect a compliment from anyone....well here's how the camouflage is done...
1. Select terrain
2. Select pattern
3. superimpose on aircraft(ensure continuity of strips)
4. paint it on.

The paint used is normal poster colours but i recommend fabric paints.
The paint looks pretty good even if you use a normal brush ..like i did.

Great colour scheme and nice work there beni. It is becoming to be a stunner I must say. It is looking beautiful.

how did you reinforce the wings and what covering you used? I can see the wrinkles of the skin under the paint.

Another aspect which comes to my mind is balancing the plane for CG. CG as you might be already aware of should be approx 1/3 Chord on the main wing. However while doing so you must ensure the weights are located far away from CG at the extremities of the fuse and balance the plane at 1/3 chord. this will ensure it to be a stable flyer. This is keeping in mind you are planning this for FPV. However for aerobatics you need the distribution of weight to be closer to the CG.

When making FPV Planes you need to ensure some aspects as we discussed.

1.   Firstly is weight distribution far away from CG for stability.

2.   Second is location of power system and propellers behind the nose not interfering with the camera view.

3.   Thirdly is the separation of the Control Receiver and the video Transmitter even though they may be in two different frequency to avoid Harmonic interference.

4.   Lastly is the location of the Camera right on the nose for correct perspective during flight.

So all the best. will keep you posted with various options for the FPV Camera and Tx.

Beni likes his planes to be really large. His two meters wing span skywalker look alike fish box Styrofoam plane is receiving its Arkbird, 700 TVL HK camera and 900 Mhx Vtx in shillong. This time instead of packing tape nicely shaped model of styrofoam is neatly covered using thin layer of araldite and black polyester cloth. It has become rock solid composite foam core model. Nice job done in the model build beni. Personally I would have prefered 70% of this size

With its 25mm lens and 6mm aperture, night vision capability and low light video capabilities are amazing. Because of the 6mm lens this ones night vision capability is much better than my camera from rangevideo on my skywalker.

What a mess the house has become.   Bang Head

The Black one was a total disaster at 3.4 Kgs, under powered and with unequal length of wing (in-spite of pointing it out to beni, he in his haste to fly it thought that it was not critical and confirmed to me he has measured it to be equal however later accepted that he had taken it for granted) and with major aerodynamic flaws, the proven very high winger design which is guaranteed to fly always level even in the hands of a novice was constantly rolling and crashed all three maiden attempt to the right (I wanted beni to fly it since he has to handle it solo later  Bang Head I have also a reason to believe beni did not give enough correction to level out too)

Later the white one with identical design was kitted with all electronics, OSD and camera. This one was having a skewed rudder so it is constantly yawing to one side (even with auto pilot on the radius now was bigger). however it flew great with physical rudder trim to one side.

Today morning Beni did three solo flights at his place in Assam all alone in FPV as well as LOS and all were success.

Great job Beni congrads.

PS : For heaven sake please make smaller model next time. Please keep the air-frame weight close to the weight of the complete electronics you are carrying and not five times  Bang Head

I like the Araldite/Fabric build mode. Tell me Sandy, do you dilute the epoxy? With NC thinner?

No Sir he can't afford to use NC thinner since it is normal Fish Box Styro, Foam core would have just melted inside. Purely araldite No doubt it came out so heavy. Smiley
