Good build!  {:)}
I like unconventional stuff. Hope the cardboard doesn't add too much weight.

Maybe I'm wrong, but from the pic, the plane looks a bit un-symmetrical (i.e one half of base longer than the other... base angles look 44o and 48o)

Deltas are tricky to fly. Good luck for your maiden!

Hi gbisht

Good Build!

I guess the flat profile will make your plane just too much unstable, don't forget to add some reflex before flying, the tails should help but always better to have some reflex while launching

O.K, when I first saw the pics, the right side of the delta looked longer than the left. Then I realized (after replying) that the pics were taken at an angle.

But now I used the IrfanView length and angle measurement tools and there does seem to be a problem with symmetry.
But maybe it's just the pics... try doing some measurements on the actual bird. These are small errors but they do matter in delta planforms.

Swapnil: Thanks for your valuable time....but I am sure and ensure you that both triangle are symetric....actually the are two pcs of cardboard and then I have fixed them together and they both are in same side....attaching another pic

Ah, my bad! It's just the pics then. I forgot that projections on non-parallel surfaces appear unsymmetrical.

Anyways, like I said, deltas are sensitive planforms and when you've crashed a few you don't want others to make even the slightest mistake.

Good luck for your maiden!

Forget measurements for now - just fly your heart out. All the best!

Yeah, I totally agree VC sir! All the projects I successfully completed were the ones where I concentrated on the 'enjoying' part rather than measurements!

I guess people like me are just afraid of failing and so get lost in measurements... and fail in the end anyways!

"I guess people like me are just afraid of losing and so get lost in measurements and lose in the end anyways!" quote from Swapnil.

That makes two of us. Scared of flying and destroying. No wonder that I have 5 Virgin Models in my hangar that have NEVER been flown :banghead:! Why do you think I stick to Boats and Hovercraft - they can't crash :giggle:!

I am good at advising others ( that's my profession), but I can't convince myself to follow the same course of action.

Thanks VC Sir and
I am not afraid for crash (same like you):-)............even I took it on field at evening..............but 2 bad lucks

1. Wind was like storm
2. I took only 1 battery and that was discharged one, which I have discharged on testing..........lol
