Arun in absolutely right. Wings can be launched in a number of ways but the safest way is by holding the wing.

That was a close call, you were flying alone.

Recover soon and fly safe.

Dear Friend.... well I too have a vortex Speedster and been flying it well without any issues. If you have downloaded the booklet on how to build the model from the internet..... it also gives you a link of you tube videos on how to do the preflight and launch for the model.  Please go through it as it will be of immense help and your model or you some more injuries...

The links for both the two things are given here..... By the way that is Mr Gaurav in the video i.e. the owner of Vortex RC....:-

Happy flying.....

thanks guys for all the vital info

@sobhit
what is your flying weight of speedster pro
by manual it should be 850-900 gms and i think i am around 600 gm

could it be the possible reason for very sensitive controls when flying with more the 40% throttle power

it fly very good around 25-30 % power but above that tends to climb and get fair bit glitchy in nominal wind conditions

With the correct cg, control surface of wings are very sensitive. U need only or less than 50% of throws, so set dual rates or expos .
Also- Pitching up with throttle is normal but should not be extreme.

Dear Gandhi you may kindly check the spelling of my name and write it correctly please.  OK... You may recheck the CG of your wing.  If it is even a wee bit rear the model will be very sensitive and climb rapidly on increase of power.  If the CG is fine then you may use the expo mode of your transmitter and reduce the control throws to -30 to - 50.  This will give you the sensitivity you are looking for.  I use -40 on the Ailerons and nil on the elevators..... well I do throw around my model a lot making it do a lot of aeros.....
Best Wishes.
