Practice, and only Practice will make you perfect

great stuff saurabh

just check the fin one, for (a) it should be parallel to the airflow (b) both should be 90 deg to the wing (basically should canter unevenly)

Both seems to be out (Or is it illusion ?)

Gusty boss,
It is Illusion........ I couldnt trust myself & checked 3 -4 times they are parallel ( except an mm here or there).

One thing i am still to figure out is ... we measure and check and again measure and cut ideally 2 pieces should be identical but they will be 1-2 mm out  Head Scratching .... I feel its the parallex error.... however i found 90Degree L the best tool !!!!!

now the help part -----?Huh?? CG Huh??? of this wing i have a link for the CG will try that but ...one doubt the 35% of Chord might not be appropriate here i have shaped the wing to have max thickness at 50% (of chord) assuming the canopy ( area Red colour) hardly add any help to wing..... see illustration pic.... Advice!!!

@ Saikat -  Hot wire for rough shaping then sanding.... if you talk of winglets after you complete wing,at the line of winglet cut the edges to 75% fill fevicol set at angle to dry....for slightly round curve you need to give 2 cuts ....see the pics you will see the cut lines.

Hello sir,

As per the CG calculator ( in Pic ) CG to be at ~ 4 Inch for all round performance and 3.6 Inch for beginners !!!!

Means i have to add a lot of weight at Nose......

Can i push the motor inside so as to reduce weight add Huh?
Options, a. move entire motor + prop inside    b. move only motor extend shaft so that prop remains at same point

Head Scratching took a tough project..... anyway my atom look alike died... but before dying it taught me how to fly. I flew it myself  initially I hand launched and kept in air for 4-5 min... then it came down !!!  I feel the FS CTB 6 ch TX is having some issue in both planes it appears to have dead stick after some time of flying, anyway these are too cheap and can expect such results...... are these reliable I have not seen people using these anywhere except novice peoples...... What you suggest / Advice?

24" looked a bit smaller so built a 32" like the real wing wing.

Still to fix servos and electronics.

will upload final pics once done....

Where will you fly it? "Muje to desh nikala mil chuka hai"Giggle you know that ....but you can go I guess. All the best for its first flight and I am sure it will fly like your past builds.

Saurabh,
few cautions
1. 2500KV, with 3 cell and 5x3 prop, check out the current.. keep it to max 5-6 amp only
2. U may have to reprogram the timing of the ESC with 3 cell and 2500KV
3. What is the weight of the wing?
4. Do Glide test with out Power before maiden.
all the very best for the maiden.

Astha ji ... thanks for the info tips.....
1. How can I control the current it will be drawn on requirement (load) anyway this combination worked well as I see/feel ( i do not have any watt / thrust meter) but feeling is good  Shocked ( i mean good thrust). Also i had this combo on a small 26" wingspan pusher which flew well and could take lift from ground without landing gear!!!
I am using HK SS 15-18 Amp ESC ( overkill but i do not have a smaller one)
2. As i said the motor running feels good still i will see if it can get better by reprogramming to fast timing.
3. Weight!!! must be <150Grms
4. I did the glide test & it did glide well but some issue ... IT DID NOT FLY. It had high tendency to go to left with full turn to right also it keept going into left circles of 5mtr but gained height (2 floors) then nose dived.

I changed thrust angle, gave uptilt to motor but no success..... still its a mystery to me what is wrong.

I havent seen a wing nor did i use any plans just copied from pics of wing wing from HK.There must be something which i missed. Still it shouldnt have been this bad any way will try again !!!! sometime will surely consult you before making.

for 150 grams u need a max of 35 watts. At 10volts this is 3.5A. check out this since ur mbattery safe operation is 5A.
If the wing is well balanced the tendency could be due to a mis aligned fins.

I purchased one glider from jacks hobbies & it is flying wonderfully.
jack is keeping a lot of spares for electric flying.
the chinies electronic systems are not very good & if they fails we can not blame JACK
AS I  KNOW HOW DIFFICULT IT IS TO GET RC Spares as i am flying from 1980.
THOUGH Now a days we are getting the spares easily then before.
