Title: My latest flight review Airfield 800mm P40 Warhawk
Post by: theleabres on October 23, 2011, 09:08:40 PM
Here it is.  I don't recommend it for beginners.  For experienced and advanced pilots and only if you love warbirds.  Otherwise there are much better flying planes for the money spent on this one.

Which is this place. Why ask is because, altitude has larger effect on model planes, due to reduced density, looking at the alpha at which she stalled (Typically these planes do at aboyt 13.5-15 Alpha) and the True Air Speed , place definetely appears above 6000'. She should behave a shade better in Delhi

This was near Bern, Switzerland, in the foothills, so yes the altitude was high.  Still, I'm not satisfied with the planes flying characteristics in that it needs to run 80% throttle to remain stable.  I like to "cruise" at 50% throttle or even below so I can enjoy nice turns and not feel like I'm forced to "race" the plane.  Thanks for your feedback.  Cheers.
