Hi RC Dude, Can you please guide me for the tools, cutting techniques etc you used to craft the aerofoil wing shapes from Balsa.

Hi,

The tools i have used to build this wing is a paper cutter to cut the ribs, sanding paper to sand the ribs, clamp and pins to hold the ribs togather while sanding.

Thanks

Superb!! mind boggling!! When the forum is in dearth of even plan-scratch builders, you are going the Purist Scratch building!!

Looks like I would get the privilege witnessing the maiden!!

Keep the control surface linkage simple. If possible, (CG adjustment allows) put the servos as close to the tail instead of traditional central tray. Use cycle spokes and not brake wires. Get the spring wire lying at my house.
If CG is right, this bird is 100% sky-bound!!
Kudos!!

Any color scheme in your mind ? Did you get the Black/White covering film from our favorite LHS?

Hey Ujjwal Thanks.

Definitely we shall go together for the maiden flight.

Planning for traditional central tray as it is a pylon mount, there might be an issue of CG if i put the servos behind.

Using cycle spokes this time.

I dont have any color scheme in mind, i have bought 2 meter dark blue covering film today from RCD.

Please let me know a color scheme for my model.

Great progress Sarad.
From the pic, the leading edge of the vertical fin looks little bent towards the left. Is the problem in the angle of the pic you took ?

What color scheme are you planning ?
