The Corrowot was conceived as an Aerobatic Model for a 40 size Nitro Engine

I'm trying to adapt it to electric, and aim to keep the weight to 1.5 Kg, using a 3536-1450 KV motor, a 3300 mAh Lipo, and a 10*7 prop

48" Span, 10 1/2 plus 2 1/4 " (aileron) Chord, fully  symmetrical wing out of 3 mm Corro

I use vinyl sign, available from people who make signboards and/or sell Corro,

The Landing gear is readymade, available with RCD, RCB and HK. Costs Rs. 200

could you tell me from where do you source these signs from because we live like around half an hour from each other so maybe if i could also buy the signs and also could you tell me the same for the corro?
(sorry if i am irritating you with these constant questions)

Sanjay Sir, beautiful model.  .

Speed with which you are going you are forgetting to do the Newspaper formality also.    All I could see was a Newspaper in the morning and now the model is almost complete. You are supposed to do the formality some where in the middle of the build too.  

Way to go Sanjay Sir   I must admit you are going full steam. Difficult to catch up.

PS : All is fare in love and Waaarrrrr..... grrr...  some controversy to slow you down is warranted. >

@sandy sir... controversies are catalysts for Sanjay sirs builds... let one arise and there will be a new model by dusk tomorrow.. to negate the controversy.

Put a 25 AX or a 30, or a Brushless 320 W and above........it is a real pleasure to fly. I'm sure Girish and Arvind who also flew it will second me on this. The original used a 40! Can only imagine the action

Sir this is one of the most Beautiful Coro built Plane I ve ever seen. Even the Log is pretty easy to  understand. You are really a Coro Legend.  and also + . I tried my hands on a Corro but sadly dint completed it. The main issues were with the landing gear. Will post you some pics soon.

This awesome build changed hands from Sanjay sir's to mine some time back, and went through the following mods:

- an ASP 0.25 engine
- wingtips
- smaller landing wheels
- larger tail wheel

The model flies pretty well (implicit when Sanjay sir builds one) and with the wingtips, was able to sustain knife edge flight

I've had my days of trouble with starting glow engines but the lessons learnt have come in useful.

Good to know that ..... Girish ... And it would be even better if you could share the lessons learnt ....

Hahaha, I am just no expert with engines, but since you corrected my name, I'll share my experiences ... 

- use the starter only when everything fails, use a chicken stick. Learn to manage the frustration, then every successful start is rewarding
- right amount of fuel in the chamber to start, 'itna sa' fuel is more than enough.
- these sized glows take about 4 litres (not four tanks) of fuel for properly breaking in before they can really deliver good power.
- run one click rich from what one thinks is correct. running really rich will destroy plugs sooner than one expects. Keep spare plugs
- During break in, give the engine enough, like really enough fuel so it four strokes and let it burn one tank on low throttle while 4-stroking. it's tempting to go full throttle on new engines
- If the engine is tuned correctly, a little flick is enough to start it. for tuning, 'listen' to your engine. Every flying session needs a tuning because of weather/humidity. I try to keep the engine head temp around 210-220 C.
- eliminate problems in this order, engine temperature > tank plumbing + backpressure > no fuel/flooding > throttle settings > idle settings > mixture settings (HSN) > glow plug > fuel quality > LSN
- use pinch test for LSN
- engine starts and dies down?, if repeat pinching the exhaust helps, the engine is running lean, if pinching fuel line helps, its running rich
- start lots of engines, stop them, re-start, get some scars on fingers. Never give up, be at war with the engine. And then when it just doesn't start, give up and place the blame on the engine, curse the engine if that helps. Try again after sometime.
- give full throttle right before take off to get things in order (I always forget this and then have to walk up the plane with an engine that just quit). This helps cleaning out engine and also brginging the engine to the correct temp
- all engines quit and they will quit when you want them most
- talk to people on the field about the problem, seek help

I still have my days of quitting engines 

You forgot to add: make sure your fuel is mixed and stored correctly
