Title: One more Mini Yak 54, 25" wingspan from Biofoam!!!! Post by: ashJR7202 on June 16, 2010, 05:27:57 PM This is one more 25” Yak 54, I think it must be boring to see the same plane with 25” again from me >:( >:( :banghead:!!!!
As I mentioned in my earlier post (http://www.rcindia.org/electric-planes/mini-yak-54-made-from-biofoam!!/), this is small version of my 30’’ Yak Made up of 5 mm biofoam. It fly’s great, same as my earlier version. currently I am using 7X4 prop but if I put 8x4 it will do full 3D, but 1st I will practice on 7X4 and once confident will put 8X4. But due to Mansoon blues, I think I will not be able to fly anything for next 2-3 months!!!! Here are spec: Motor: C20 brushless Outrunner 2050kv ESC: TURNIGY Plush 18amp Speed Controller Battery: Rhino 750 mAh 2s1p lipo Rx: Spektrum 6 CH Servos: 4 X 3.7g Hobbyking Stikers: Blue, yellow & red radium, new color scheme let me know if u guys like it!!!!! Your insipration has hit me... Here is the one that I have made. All servos have been installed and pushrods ready. Now just waiting for my parcel from HK that has the motor and ESC. It has landed in India on 20th. Hopefully will get it in this week. 8-) Have a look at the motor mounting. I have reinforced with Biofoam. Hope this will be strong... 8-) Dont get scared with the color scheme. :giggle: I just had these sheets, blade and ruler... Didnt want to spend much on the first model. :P However the second one with 30" is also ready. It is cut and I will stick it once I receive the parcel. I will get the professional decals for it. my 30" yak is fitted with 2812, but i recently received my 2822 and soon will be fitting it on my yak so i will be havin 2812 in spare!!! if u want u can use it for sometime!!! with 2812, u wont be able to hover but will be able to do some 3D!!!! let me know!!!
