Information sharing improves knowledge of both.

What is your airframe weight and the wing dimension (Cord and span) ?
I Think the motor will be overpowered if your AUW is about 700-800 gm.
You may consider 2822 or DT700 or donky3007, bell type motors.

The airframe looks good.

For your future builds you should have the coro for the wing aligned in such a way, that the flutes run parallel to the chord and not spanwise(which is what you have done in this case). This will ensure a smooth leading edge and will prevent formation of sharp crease marks, where instead of a smooth curve you get discrete changes in slope.

Secondy, I hope you don't have too much dihedral in the wings because it will be counter productive if you plan to use ailerons, you will always have to fight it throughout the flight. The plane will be inherently stable in the roll because you have the wing over the fuselage; 'keel effect' .

No, it is not necessary to use ailerons initially. You may implement it later.

Don't wake a Tiger until you've factored the teeth

I wouldn't fly with that wing joint. It could come undone.

Needs wood reinforcement on the spar centre, and wrap on the outside (use 2 mm Corro)

As Rohit said above, in Corro wings, the flutes run perpendicular to the spar

Check spadtothebone

Oh, My God.

Then take HK 25-30A ESC for 450/- available to LHS.
At least connect ESC with motor and insulate, then apply Voltage. But without receiver connection, you cannot rotate the motor except beeps.

1. Higher throttle refresh rate (this is taken into consideration for multirotors)
2. Data logging (like motor temp, amps consumed, etc.) eg. turnigy super-brain ESCs
3. Throttle reverse through Tx stick combinations.(=> no swapping of wires is needed after you've soldered or connected wires to reverse throttle) Several Pentium ESCs have this feature.

Madhira

1. Post pics of your engine mounting arrangement. Do NOT attempt to fly with your damaged X mount frame, and having 2 adjacent mount screws is bad, asking for trouble
2. Fix your wing centre. It can come apart in mid air: use a wood dihedral brace

I hope this is of help to you. I have seen the pics you posted of the Engine mount: just mount it directly on 4 mm plywood cut to size to just fit in the fuse, and use 10mm X 2mm dia Self Tapping Screws to secure it.

Please reinforce the wing centre properly, if nothing else put a full 4" wrap around the centre. It is a highly stressed part, and many in-flight failures happen here

All the best, and feel free to contact me, or I am sure any of the wonderful guys on the forum, for any further help you may need

Get someone experienced to help you with your first few flights....it helps! Smiley

Madhira: my point is not the engine. I KNOW you are on electric (I can read, you know)

The important point here (in case you missed it) is how to mount an engine and how to strengthen a wing centre

Help guys.this isnt flying.!!!!
First thing i didnt take off on a runway. i just just shooted it from shoulder height.is there nethng wrong in this?
Second,
I did the cg correct.Photos u can see.Only one thing is that the motor mount somewhat overlaps a bit of the front part.so does this aerodynamically disturb anything?

Does your AUW include motor & battery? Then a 2826 will be fine...someone is selling one cheap (Rs. 600) on this forum

"As a general rule of thumb, If the same size motor is offered in several different kV options, the higher kV options will be more powerful. This isn't always true, but usually it's how it works. The downside is that the high kV motors require a smaller prop than the lower kV, so they're not a good choice for 3D/aerobatics where you want max prop wash over the control surfaces."

Quoted

This motor should develop a maximum of 340 W, so should be good for your application, and, being versatile, will be handy for other models too
