Hi,
I would suggest you to go for 1300 mah or 1500 mah battery instead of 1000 Mah.
Motor: http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/uh_viewItem.asp?idProduct=12920 - is ok
ESC is also ok.

No details on what the issue is ?

Is this as issue with the plane or the person building it ;D  Especially since someone else says it is fairly easy to build ! :headscratch:

Title: Re: RC Bazaar TB- 20 Assembly/Build Log
Post by: akky on June 29, 2011, 12:21:35 PM
well i guess both.  :giggle: :giggle:...
so here comes the full problems i have faced

1) the servo bay is not  not well located plus i guy like me who has bit healthy fingers had a tough time inserting them since the full place is made of the same material used for packaging of AC's and refrigerators so has a little flex when my servos operate... you cannot use the screws supplied with the servo to secure them  one has to you alot of hot glue to secure them ...

2) no problems with the elevator...but the rudder has a major problem since its coupled with the steering system this servo will be going through more stress.....so whenever the input is given the whole fin flexes along with the rudder surface though i have used epoxy instead of the supplied Chinese thermocole glue ....

3) the holes that are made on the firewall are totally uses ...one has to get the correct position for the mount with respect the the supplied cowl...had to frill new holes for that

PLUS its a request toyou and shubham  please dont start any useless argumentation over here especially on my topics

The TB-20 sold by Rc Bazaar is built to a price point ... meant to be value for
money . I think it does that quite well.

If you want a precision engineered product - buy MULTIPLEX but be prepared
to pay more than double.

I'm thinking of getting one myself - the TB-20 that is , not Multiplex.

Guys. if I may intervene, let me give you a brief background on this whole issue. I had promised to give akky a 450 heli as a gift quite a long time back but akky felt that he don’t need the heli and wanted a tb-20 and he duly paid for the extra.

However the package reached him "not in a perfect condition" (even after double packing at the store) i believe the courier guys kept another heavy package over the kit hence in some places there have been dents on the epo. We have taken this up quiet strongly with our existing VRL courier services and have decided to move to Aramex from 1st july. However for large packages we will still use Vrl Cargo express service as they have been quite good till date. So the issues that akky is having could also be teh build and the plane itself.

Coming back to the point, I did ask akky that we will refund the entire money and will get the package back on our own cost from him but he was very kind enough to state that he is fine this and he dint need the refund and will manage with this model as is :salute:.

Also we have just run out of the tb-20 and some other models and will take a few weeks to put it back again in stock.

Use IrfanView to resize (Image-> Resize/Resample) and then save as JPEG (65-85 % quality).
I've reduced 1.5 MB images to about 35-45 KB!
