I had a crazy Idea but it worked.
The landing gear is made of cycle wheel spokes. I used ear buds tubes to hold the wheel in place. First inserted a small tube so the wheel doesn’t rub the inner side then inserted the wheel, then again more tube so that it won’t come out. After that I used flame from a cigarette lighter to shrink the ear bud tubes. It was a perfect fit and tubes are almost molded with the spokes.

The flaps really help this model during landing and as agu bhaiya said, it is so easy to build but flies like a charm, if someone is building his first plane, I strongly recommend to try this one, chances of failure are almost zero. The plane just sits in the air, so easy to control.  Hats Off Hats Off Hats Off

Oops sorry agu bhaiya !!  Yes I have 2 servos on it. I will surely put the pics and video on, was busy updating my website and on some college project so didnt have time. Anyways, the material I've used is 5mm biofoam, supported the wings by bamboo sticks(the ones put on kites) , put some radium stickers on and thats all(kinda an experimental project), for the effort that I've put in the rewards are truly amazing. I'm planning to build another one with a more scaled appearance and a good paint job like the one on my scratch built cessna(thats why I devoted less time to this one just to check its performance and the advantages of having flaps/spoilers, etc ). But that is coming after another build that I have in my mind, won't disclose it now.

 I agree ankur .

@ prateek

Prateek I had one person for help and used set squares to keep it perpendicular. I used hot glue everywhere. I have 3mm carbon rod running through one of the flutes of the main wings and the Elevator. The hinges are all packing tapes. Motor mount is described in the link anwar has given.

Prateek don’t waste time figuring out. Just start building you will see what to do. It’s very easy. If you go wrong just dump it and start a new one Cheesy. coro is dead cheap. You can make 2 planes out of one sheet.

Maybe someone could market an ARF kit of this Coro Extra 300 with all electrics and battery included. Should contain all push rods, servos, control horns, motor and prop. Just assemble, add your own Tx/Rx and fly! Good idea, ain't it?

I would love to buy one, how many other takers would there be? Head Scratching Huh?

But VC bhaiya why would someone pay a hefty shipping, this plane can be built in 3 hrs on our own. Good for those who plan to enter into scratch/plan building.

Had a hectic day today, lots of flights but no videos, didn't take my camera along, will take it tomorrow.

However, this plane can take a lot of beating !!

Azhagu, can you post some pics of the reinforcements that you did? I can see that Rohit has used a lot of reinforcements on his Depron model. I guess a coro model would need more especially to keep the tail from wagging.

Infact, I have used four bamboo sticks(and also used these to make the training gear!), one for the elevator control surface, 1 for the surface to which the elevator is attached , one for the wing and 1 that goes along the fuse(3rd pic reply 69!), these make the plane strong enough! Secondly, I also want to make a point here, the first day i tried out, the plane had this huge wing rocking, infact the wings collapsed in a roll. Then i sanded the leading edges, and the wing rocking has absolutely vanished! Even i was amazed, because i never expected that there was such a simple solution to the problem.
