Yeah! Cool site. Seen the prices???  >:( Our Sundy (Sundaram) could give them a run for their money! sandy, go for it. Jokes apart, what you create, at the fraction of their prices, is far far superior (In terms of results obtained vis a vis cost of production). This is my personal opinion and I hope many will agree.

Regards,

VC

Do you know there is brusless motor inside every digital clock which gives the rotation pulse to the clocks second hand movement and further to the all the moving parts inside. smaller the clock smaller is the inrunner magnet. if you recover a inrunner magnet from the cheap china made digital clocks, you can actually fabricate a small micro brushless motor similar to the onle listed last in the brushless motor catagory of the http://microflierradio.com/motors.html for $ 120 which does not need a ESC also. At the miniscule current requirement for it to run, it will run on the signal pulse of the receiver also.

But for the thrust it generates to match it with the correct receiver of appropriate wt is the trick ( fabricating one is one still i am not confident) to flying such micro models at a DIY cheaper option.

i have used the parts of a cheap 2 ch micro  china  heli it has all motors in coaxial rx tx gears and a sturdy frame if u use it  except props under 500 rs mine was lost in a empty plot behind my house whe n a wind blew my plane from my roof .. After all it handled good inside the room and controlled fairly good

No Tanmay Digital Clock with dials.  ;D

Which is that analogue electronic Clock you are referring to? I have no come across one.

I believe all electronic clocks are all digital. whether with dial or with LCD.

o that i can use the dining table as my airport

Some packs of Kinder Joy would come with a glider as the toy. When cg well balanced and correctly thrown (firm but light push), it stays afloat for 10-15 ft easily. I always contemplated putting a micro motor on it, but never did. You will have to eat lots of KJ to find one :D; If I find one lying around, I'd be more than happy to send it over to you.

Manoj, I really don't have one at the moment... Here's a youtube video..I could not hear the sound, but from the video it looks like the guy could not assemble it correctly...

Girish sir, fabricating one of those planes would be much easier than eating up a rack of kinder joy to find one. Only difference is assembling the kinder joy plane would be tougher due to the chubby fingers gained in finding it

You can make one with sticks of coconut leaves and small plastic cover. I mean the cover sofas are wrapped. I made one when I was 11 or 12. But not rc but had compartments to put. I destroyed it out of anger when my parents said they would not buy electronics for it
