This is my first scaled foamie and its NOT a profile foamie. Its a 16% scale model of Extra 300S made of Styrofoam, colored tape and some little balsa. day 1 Oct 30th Sunday slicing of styrofoam into three 98*49*1 cm sheets by hot wire cutter. parts of fuselage cut day 2 Oct 31 Monday Joining of the above parts to form fuselage. Right wing slot made, Ailerons attached, Servo mounting of elevator, ailerons and rudder servo centering, construction of landing gear mount. day 11 Nov 9 Wednesday Tail wheel and main landing gear attached. Servo centering and tail-twist adjustment done. Preflight Check and Centre of mass adjustment.
