Title: Scratch Built 3D istyle trainer Post by: rastsaurabh on February 21, 2013, 12:28:48 AM Hello friends,
This is a plane which i have been working since quite sometime although only 40% work done.... Admins to decide whether it qualifies for Sweepstakes or not. > Used blue foam sheets sliced from thick piece ( 12mm for fuse and 4mm for wing) coated with fevicol and tissue. > bottom is checkered due to selection of such tissue paper on bottom > although planned to make flat wing but then thought of making it slow by making under-cambered wing.... used bamboo as spar > wing control surface is of coro with blue tape > wing servo fixed but need to put in all electronics and control surface gear. > plan to put 2204 14T motor with 8x4 prop and 500mah 3s battery Plane designing - Basic knowledge gained via reading and doubts cleared from Gusty Boss :hatsoff: and size of foam sheet available. Maiden flight will tell if design and make is OK !! Title: Re: Scratch Built 3D istyle trainer Post by: romanxdsouza on February 21, 2013, 10:03:48 AM very neat whats the wing span,

Title: Re: Scratch Built 3D istyle trainer Post by: anwar on February 27, 2013, 12:04:32 AM This will be listed once in the sweepstakes. I would have listed it 3x, if photos were posted with all the foam pieces disconnected.
Title: Re: Scratch Built 3D istyle trainer Post by: VC on February 27, 2013, 12:25:19 AM Saurabh - great going!
Anwar sahab - I am yet to understand the rules - what exactly do you mean by - "I would have listed it 3x, if photos were posted with all the foam pieces disconnected." How does a single model qualify for a 3 X listing?" Not trying to insult anyone, I really don't understand. Title: Re: Scratch Built 3D istyle trainer Post by: anwar on February 27, 2013, 12:32:38 AM Apparently you are not reading my posts.

Title: Re: Scratch Built 3D istyle trainer Post by: VC on February 27, 2013, 12:56:12 AM I am not reading ANYTHING my dear Idi! I am too busy building. ;D Anyway, thanks for clarifying.
I may have a few more surprises that I plan to spring on you before the date draws to a close. >:D Nice to know that you are posting especially for my benefit, I appreciate. However, if you are calling me a senile old bat, may I caution you not to disclose such sensitive truths on a public forum. However, since you are the BOSS, if you insist, I am open to changing my mascot (if you approve) from the shameful chimp to the character attached below. :giggle: p.s. note the name of the attachment, I am mentally prepared. I've kept one ready for you too.................
