Good morning everyone,
am building an electric park flyer, aileron trainer with the following specs as if for now,
wingspan: 914mm
chord: 196mm
material: balsa
but before i start i want the experienced guys to have a look on the airfoil profile that i have selected and tell me whether it would be ok for an aileron airplane with no dihedral or not.

besides if you have suggestions for a particular plane that has good flying characteristics, then please step in and guide me, because am a beginner just trying to step into this wonderful hobby

so all your valuable comments and suggestions are welcomed
regards
Bilal

Bilal, the aerofoil is good for parkflyer use... But i think u can keep the lower part of the aerofoil flat instead of making it curved, even that will work

Bilal..... Stepping into hobby.... AND I thought you have already flown 2-3 of your planes....you are into it dude.....

What i do when i want to build .....keep looking into HK site for pics and select a model then decide on my own dimensions and mods.... you have approximation of prop motor esc etc from the model.

ex. I plan to make a 34"+ WS trainer from thermacol so this is what i found...
http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/__16808__Hobbyking_Tuff_Trainer_EPP_PNF_.html

Aerofoil is also shown... have a look

@Rastsaurabh: (chuckles)......sir, am stuck into an endless cycle of build-crash-build process.......but this time i want to build something that would survive atleast a couple of flight session,.......afterall, i have to learn flying too  Giggle

and that was a really good idea you gave me their Thumbs Up, thanx.....people like you make my life easy Grin Grin
but how you draw/design the fuselage by just looking at the pics.....i mean where you get all the proportions from?

and now since you have started the topic, so i want to build this fuse,...can you tell me how to draw it on paper? Head Scratching

Bilal

Same with me... i have made 2 planes and lost one in crash.... other one ( AXN floater lookalike) could take beating and is under repair. have also made a delta 24" but somehow felt that it is too small so making a 34" delta ( HK wing wing lookalike).
Coming to fuse... i know your inclination towards BALSA.... so it will be a little tough still it depends what size of wood is available.
You know the length---you know the places it has to be extra strong ( from Nose till trailing edge of wing).... i haven't tried anything with balsa so cant give more tips.... but one design what i have in mind and will try once i get time..... thermacol fuse sided with coro!!!! see this design....

Bilal,
I am also new in this hobby , made model from depron and crashed. Than I made a SAPD and experienced,  that SPAD can handle some crashes, tough landing  and easy to rebuild. My spad gone through 3-4 crashes with out any issue and I am learning flying from that. You can try it..

Bilal which material are u using for ur build, as it it depends on the material . which can handle crash.

I have roughly build a plane. which is made of coro. and believe me bilal it will handle all ur crashes.
bcoz i am sure , no one can fly as bad as i can  Giggle.
i will post some pic , once i reach home.

@Swizera: Sir untill now all my planes were made up of thermocole.....but lately i've realised the beauty and ease of balsa construction....and am loving it  Grin
so for this build I'll go for a full balsa fuse and a thermocole wing in the beginning Giggle......once am confident enough, i'll build a treditioal balsa wing........THAT'S THE PLAN Roll Eyes Grin

Learning to Fly

Bilal if you want to build, try Blue or Cub plans, there are lots out there. Basically any high winger would suffice your requirements
