Don't wake a Tiger until you've factored the teeth

A word about the Electronics used

I used a DM 2610 - 1200 KV brushless motor from Kinetic Hobbies with a 30 A ESC also from them. This motor performs superbly; it swings an 11X 5.5 prop with ease and gives a healthy 300 Watts plus. Considering that the model can use a 15 to 25 size Nitro, the power I got was more than adequate. Both motor and ESC run very cool. In the video, except the take-off, I am running at about 5-~60% throttle.

I have used a variety of batteries, including the Haiyin 2200 3S 20 C. This battery (I have used it on my QB 20 too at 40 A continuously) performs well too. After 20 plus charge/discharge cycles it still charges to 4.20-4.20-4.20 and there is no puffing. A good LiPo!
