Hae fellas,
i am new to this RC Hobby ,i recently built an ft edge with 5mm foam board , its bare weight is 900 gm and all up weight is 1.1 kg,
spec:

battery :2200mah
prop:10x4.5
motor:-a2212 1000kv bldc
esc:- 30amp

i have trouble to make it lift off from the ground ,

is the power train needed to be changed

Welcome to the forum.

The Flitetest model weighs 680gms all up and has a 350+ watt motor (ie, 2836 size)

Yours weighs 1100gms and has a sub 150 watt motor.

So the problem is overweight and underpowered.

Hope this helps. BTW, not a suitable choice for a first model.
