thanks sahilkit.
I started this hobby 2.5 to 3 years back. I know only electrics. Must have made > 40 different scratch builts. Not necessorily Deltas. But Deltas do fly well in wind and easy to carry.
pl see one  full coro regluar plane i had built soem time back

thanking you

Isn't the wattage of your motor one of the key issues here (along with the prop selection) ?

No. Instead first lighten the airframe itself. Otherwise the plane will still not fly well. Any idea why the frame is this heavy?

The specs are as follows. Later i also tried the DT750 Hextronix, motor from hobbycity. as in photo

WS = 35.5”,Aelerons = 4”x2”. Length = 40”. This was made with 2mm coro. Almost same as UCD3D in terms of dimensions. TR 35-30C motor 1100 KV with 10x4.7 prop. 30A esc, Gws rcvr and 9 gms servos X 4. 1800mAH 3cell Polymax

ashta

You can post them here by just bringing them down a reasonable size (http://www.webresizer.com helps!), and then attach them to your replies 4 at a time.  So keep on "reply"ing to this thread, and every time attach 4 pictures.

But it may cause the thread to load slowly on people without high-speed connections though, so you may want to do it in like 3 or 4 separate threads like "Ashta's scratch built models - 1", "Ashta's scratch built models -2" and so on. In each thread, reply 2 or 3 times to yourself, and attached 4 photos each.  That we will have a manageable 12 photos per thread, instead of all 40 in a single thread.

You can also point to them in your thread, if they are hosted in other sites like Flickr (instead of attaching them here again).
