Where did you get the duralumin from?
The last piece i salvaged from IITK Gliding Centre became an undercarriage leg, that served ALL my models for many years, along with an old pair of Dubro wheels. Must be still in my stuff in Lucknow.

The harsh moment of truth!! The plane is ridiculously heavy at 700gms even without full completion at today's test.. And it was struggling to even taxi on muddy ground, forget flying! So it will be hung from the ceiling after all  Giggle Also severely under-powered, when I bought 2 cell lipo it was not intended for this, but I had originally brought it to power the receiver and servos for a soaring plane, which I will be making later..

So until I get a bigger motor and the ESC from Mr.Sundaram which will be used for another 1/8th scale of this airplane, I will have to make a quick build for another park-flyer or alike, with the existing electronics! Lets see, if I am able to make an overnight build!

I will be completing this model as a detailed static or a ground runner.. until then  Hats Off

Hmm, dont know.. but the scale is a little too small for nitro i guess. Any how, planning to build twice this scale,ie., 1/8th.  I will be building that with both power options, again, time and money will hold its upper hand for sure
