i used to love flying paper kites as a kid and still love, decided to make an airplane with these paper kite sticks and gift wraping paper, and here it is my kite stick plane calling it "THE IKSA" means  indian kite stick airplane, this is my first attempt so a bit untidy on the build.

ws30inch
wings and rudder are detacable
auw with 260mah 95grams
auw with 450mah 100grams

.....please add some more if u had this thrill or craze in your life about these kites

Nice one - tail moment seems a bit short - will be unstable in pitch

Remember wing loading.  From the photo, I can't tell how strong the joints are on the wing.  Check flexibility prior to maiden.

ok so the IKSA flew great even thou only 2channel throttle and rudder Thumbs Up, no trim was required at all,has to be caught by hand while landing, can handle a bit of wind easily ,can be just put in a small plastic bag (check the pic below) for transport infact i traveled bandra west to khargar by local train this time hahaha  ROFL ROFL.dont want to put LG,will be trying on a smaller ground next.

i have 2 good videos of it but having difficulty in uploading the videos as its in HD and im no good in this stuff  Bang Head Bang Head Bang Head the iksa did many flights can do easily  20mins with my 450mah or i would say even more may be if you just keep it up with power cut and let it glide it self infact i tried it . will try my best to upload these videos.

the IKSA is a success guys  Thumbs Up Hats Off Bow Wink Grin Cool

Patient Zero

Awesome stability and for only 2 channels it flies well. It flies like a powered kite. Smiley
Great craftsmanship
