this is a slow flyer.....magnum 24 wing span slow flyer for rci  6th 2015 sweepstakes  .this plane was built with my own sweet time hahah from i think 12aug to 20aug . my airplane fuse is different and not as per the plan, mine is a box fuse/full fuse ,for plans please do some reading here  http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1595008  , i have scaled the plan i down to around 24inch around 80% you can do it to at a shop , below picture  of the mag with the paper plans ready and cutting the parts in progress . details on electronics ,auw ,mentioned later with the pictures

rudder,vertical stab fuse side and landing gear cut

other side of fuse ,all the parts in the plan cut.......i made my on cut out for the center parts in the fuse( in picture below) then glued it to the fuse

other side of the fuse was glued and the center of the wing from underneath was completed,wing tips were glued to make a wing tip dihedral,carbon rod was added for support ,and the wing was ready

landing gear was completed using carbon rods,phone card plastic,wheels,lolypop straw :rofl:, then the stab with lower part of the fuse was completed,rudder and horns were glued in and tail was ready,servos were then fitted in,i used tthe same phone card plastic squares and skewers for the wing supports with rubber bands to hold the wing.

motor was mounted to the nose,all electronics were put inside the fuse and the under foam parts of the fuse was glued,electronics used were
2204 motor,10Aesc,450mah, orange rx ,8x 3.8 prop, 4.7 and 3.7gram servo,

used a black permanent marker some red and blue wraping tape some black fabric paint and did some simple colouring ...to keep it simple

 was having problems with dutch rolls  :banghead: so changes were made to the  rudder and vertical stab to avoid dutch rolls,canopy above the servo was removed

here is a better video with the sun behind,dint realize it was mucky to land  there,  i think i found the sweet spot on the mag........a little more trim needed may be next flight....if i backup on the throttle it flys nice and slow

thanks neil.....two airplanes which are keeper are this.... the mangum and the slowly....... when you given a brake from the hobby and then get back these babies will get you back on track .
