hi guys,im new to rc airplanes want to build a 48 inch WS plane just like the GWS slow stick,for easy transport i want to make detachable wings wich can be removed after flying and put in a box,i got the plans for the build  ,making  under cambered type wing with ribs added for stiffening,want to knw what material to use for covering the wings,for ribs, rudder,elevator ,wing mounts ,dont know if thermorcol or what to use and how much mm to buy for what part PLEASE HELP IM NEW


ive got a, futaba transmitter t6ex and a r6106hf futaba recievers Size: 0.85 x 1.53 x 0.48" (21 x 39 x 12mm)

thanks.but look  for what,thermocol,balsa,.... i just need ideas on what covering to use and how many mm,and abot spliting the wing

1. options for electronics ( lipo, motor, esc etc)

Slow stick wings can be best made from CORO , have a look with search Avispad u will get many build logs.
BTW splitting wings on slow stick ... Bad Idea!!!
all mods can be done but then with not with 400grm thrust Huh?Huh?? that too 48Inch Wingspan.....
400 grm is just min to take your slow stick up if you use coro.

All such correlation you can do by seeing the pics and specification on HK.... atleast you can estimate how much thrust you need if you plan for a 48Inch plane....

FLY HIGH...!!!



Corrugated plastic sheet is called as coro and the Indian name for it is Sunpac.
Avispad is a trainer plane which is built from coro.
