Incidentally I too built one in recent days ... :) :) My elecs are slightly different ( built with what was left ); but it flies really slowly  ;D  I used Avionics 2300KV motor , 7035 EP prop , 10 amp ESC , 9gm servos & 350 mAh orange lipo . Used 3mm depron to build the fuselage. AUW 190 gms. Wingspan 610mm, chord 210mm ; so it’s an excellent slowfly parkflier. Lifts of a badminton court with ease and one of the best designs for a beginner.

SI74 Hi
i also want to build with depron.but intention my builds is i want show how to build with  inexpensive materials. so whoever wants to start this they can start building with thermacoal which is easily available and low cost.micro motor is little costly,so i used low cost 1000kv motor which they can get it for Rs.300.

@ramarao,
You are doing good stuff.
But I wish you could improve your finish on the models!

Best wishes
Iyer

And it’s a means of stress relief from work ! So anytime I can fly , sometimes even at night ! ( I place led strips and use glow props )

@Ramarao , I think if you use a Hotwire cutter for the aero foil , it would look better . Your fuselage is okay with that thermocol ( but even a thinner  thermocol would suffice for a hand launch , isn’t it? I used cling film (the thin food grade plastic film ) to cover it ( both strength and smooth finish )for my thermocol builds ( earlier when I had no depron sheets with me )

Get some laminating film. It has heat activated adhesive.

@s174
@K K Iyer

im using Tracing paper(butter paper) for lamination with fevicol water mix.
