hi guys!!!!

completed my F-15 and working on 30" yak, mean while i had lots of pieces of Biofoam with me, u can say scrap!!!!

so instead of throwing it out, i decided to make small plane out of it!!!!

it has got 20" wingspan, motor 1811, 1800 kv 12gms, 2x4.3 gm servos, will be using 220 or 360 mAh 2s lipo. and hopefully will be able to maiden next weekend!!!

wing, elevator & rudder is made up of 3 mm biofoam and fuse is from 6 mm piece. both wing and fuse is supported by CF.

no plans as such just approximate ideas and experience!!!!!

lets see how things work out!!!!

flying or crashing!!!!!!!

Your Aileron setup ROCKS!! great work dude!!

Do post the maiden! I would like get get feedback on the  heat formed under chambered wing you have. I have exactly similar wing and I wanted to build a slow stick with that.

Food for thought... shouldn't the lower part of the wing also be covered, to reduce drag ?  The top has the nice airfoil shape, but doesn't  leaving the bottom bare cause issues ? Head Scratching

These kind of Aerofoil mimic 'Under Chambered' Aerofoils and for smaller models and provide much better lift cofficiant than flat/profile wings.

Just see the wings of the famous Binary DLG Glider, now available with HC:
http://www.hobbycity.com/hobbycity/store/uh_viewItem.asp?idProduct=15183

But the downside is that they don't have good stall characteristics.

Great effort Ashish!

I like the wing construction. It's really nice. You will get good lift. The airfoil shape you gave is perfect. Take a flight and post the video link asap. Really waiting for maiden flight.
Great work........

nice control Ashis!

If there is heavy wind then i think it would be better to cover the bottom part of wing.
but overall .....it's flying good.
