Awesome sharad. From Last photo looks like prop has very less clearance or is it just angle of photo.

Title: Re: SPACEWALKER
Post by: R C on July 13, 2011, 07:07:00 PM
Thanks all,

@foamybuilder: there is 3 inch prop clearance, it is just the angle of photo that makes it look like there is less prop clearance.

Ohh!! When you called me I did not think you were talking about these pics.

The cockpit detailing is amazing. Period! The Dials, Glass and Glass Beading! Mind bloggling.

Why I am getting the feel that you are yet on a 'Static only' project! Would you dare to fly this plane ever ? Buy a Foamy and start flying man!! Wanna grab my AXN ?

No. You might not have seen the Gene of good builders. They will fly less, but build more... often very good flyer, not the 'Gen Impatient' style.

Hi Sharad,
When you told me about this plane I knew, any thing you make will be of a class.

Congratulations for nice build.

Can't Wait to see this one in sky.

Is there any vacancy of a apprentice in your work shop?

By the way what is a infantry soldier doing in it's cockpit, probably guarding it from other jealous builders. :P

Keep it up and going

All the Best
Akshay

Balsa aircraft have a sense of elegance to them.
Sir, you portray that quintessential element perfectly.

Here is my space walker.( http://www.rcindia.org/gas-glow-nitro-planes/vq-models-spacewalker-build-log/) One of my favorite . Flies well. Does some 3d with lot of skill. Flying it with asp 52 2s presently. For the maiden, let her pick up some speed before pulling back on the stick, she might wing drop otherwise. Also for landing don't come in, low speed high alpha.
Ps
Superb build :hatsoff:

Great plane RC. congrats  :hatsoff: .. I was hoping to see the hoskote runway but unfortunately the video doesn't have a take off or landing bit. Could you take off from the ground or did you hand launch it? congrats again..

Sarad, honoured , good decision , nice straight wing, easy build, gr8 flier, try flick rolls, commence at high speed you love it, you can even enter a erect or inverted spin at the exit of ur flick roll looks awesome.
Gr8 build :hatsoff:

Wow looks gorgeous in flight than on land.

Nicely shot video, with Remo Fernades's "Maya ya", seems like Space walker is dancing on it.

Kudos to builder Shardwaj Budha, and flyer Sharath Malve.

Though I will be interested to know the person who shot this video and mixed it with one of my favourite song.
