Title: Speedster Wing - Build and Fly Log Post by: maahinberi on May 20, 2016, 11:21:14 PM I had got a VT-Speedster from Vortex-RC about 2 years ago. Finally decided to build it.
Specs: Wingspan: 1180mm AUW: 712g Electronics: Battery: 2200mah 3S 25C ESC: Plush 30A Motor: Turnigy D2826-10 1400kv Prop: 7x5 I get a decent 10-15 minutes flight time with the 2200mah battery on this plane. Cruises around decently at 1/3rd throttle. Lots of power in reserve. Used coloured tape (from stationery shop) to cover the wing. Later I applied a layer of transparent tape over this layer on the full wing to increase strength of the covering. As I am using 2200mah batteries, had to add 90g of nose weight to balace it out

Cruises around very easily at 1/3rd throttle and enough power for vertical climbs when needed.
