so that was just the unboxing and i took 47 pics my god Shocked Shocked

let me know what you guys think of it and yeah its just super fun have such a plane in your hangar

the plane has not been built and i am going to use some mods as per reviews

first my own good quality epoxy

second some extra carbon fiber strips on the underbelly

and finally the canopy latch, the biggest of all the problems as it has been noted to come off in flight

good night

Congrats Subbu! Man you really leave people like me drooling!!  Drool Drool Drool Drool Drool
Nice un boxing pics too. Post the build steps as well

One small suggestion. Dont put the cam inside the canopy. The internal reflection would make the pics ugly (and very confusing). See  if you can cut a duplicate canopy with Coke/Pepsi bottle and cut a slit to pop the cam out.

All the best.

thanks you guys

ujjwaana bhaiya i thought about that for a moment and got a few ideas

first is to cut a slot in the existing canopy just in front of the camera lens

embed it in the foam in the front

thanks

Nice plane Smiley

Wish you had broken up the pictures into multiple posts so that they would span multiple pages, it would take a long time to load for many people who are not on the best of internet connections.  Also, when the pictures are too similar, post only the better ones (for the same reason... page load times).

What is the feedback on the flying characteristics on this plane ?  Other the fact that it is a pusher, was there any particular reason this one was chosen over others ?

I was in touch with Subu and we both felt this to be worth going for. I had flown the Multiplex Fun Jet a few days earlier and was very, very surprised at it's wide flight envelope and no vices. An absolute blast and recommended for anybody who has , at least, graduated to low wing trainers. Hope this is somewhat close to it!

thanks anwar bhaiya

will do that for sure i did not want to strain our server so i uploaded them in photobucket but forgot that they might still take time to load Grin Grin

as of now the plane is completely assembled and i have planned for a maiden on sunday

so then i will have my flight report here by then

as far as the pusher is concerned i had the funjet and this in mind as these days my interest in speed was growing mostly due to my addiction to ducted fans

and this being a clone of the stryker also a fast delta plane but cheaper and with the same strength and of course with all the electronics was the only choice since i have also limited my time to building my Boeing 747(repair) and the A380 (coming soon parts cut)

with a stock speed of 100 kmph and a motor upgrade speed of 200+ kmph this was a perfect choice

also sushil uncle had flown this type of a plane before so he came in with some valuable inputs too

RC India - Flying and racing with open minds !

Subbu, there are 10 posts in each page, so with 6 pics per post there will be 60 images on this one page.  At the rate you are inserting pictures, this page may not load a long time for some people.

I would suggest that you post only pictures are the distinctly different from each other, or ones that illustrate a particular detail (only once even at that).
