Hi Guys,

Started with this plane:
http://www.parkjets.com/su-37-jr/

Downloaded the plans, printed them and started to arrange them together, seems there is a mis-alignment and the printed sheets are not getting aligned properly.

Will be putting up pics of the issue, will need help from exp. people to guide through my first model build, with thanks!

The Nose is by design supposed to be curved down if that's what you mean.

Su-37 Build - First build issues

Kindly check the image and see the mis aligned section.

Is the plan wrong? Or I have done something wrong while printing?

I selected not to fit/shrink the image and just print on the a4 size paper.

You are supposed to cut edges of only one of the two edges being stuck together of the tiled Images

I think i did that only, if you see one side (left) is perfectly aligned, however the top is mis-aligned, If the height of the paper or corner cut would have been an issue, the left side won't have aligned?

Am i missing anything here? Just trying to understand what went wrong.

Say if you are progressing to join from top Left corner then first row you only cut left edges of Subsequent sheets in the first row Then in the second row first sheet you only cut top edge thereafter next sheet onwards you cut left and top edges till end of row and same for subsequent rows

Hi,

Seems the PDF provided is not the best available for a beginer. I downloaded another plan and it had all proper borders on each print out (though not the same plane). Will try to work with this new PDF.

Sorry, I was lucky to find a local hobby store to help me with this. It's difficult to get it through shipping. Even rc bazaar has it only in store pickup.

Hi, Ok i shifted to an F-22 (As the plan for Su-37 that i downloaded wasn't very clear).

The plan is now printed, parts cut out seperatly, now the big thing:
Cut the depron using the paper parts, i read a lot about people using the penknife, and i guess it should do the job Ok.

What should one use to glue the parts once they are cut out?

Hot glue? Foam safe CA etc?

dear , don't use hot glue..your plane become heavy....
just use 5 minute clear epoxy..like bondtite, fevitite, or you can use foam safe ca....

Btw: I remember you were also building the same model. What electronics are you using for it?
