Post by: Harkamal singh on September 02, 2015, 10:36:17 PM Hello everyone,I am new to all the RC concepts,I have already done an aeromodelling course, and now i would like to learn more about RC things.I have already made a design of my twin engined airplane. I believe people from this site would surely help me.So, here's my question, what kind of battery should i use ? I need specifications for the brand,Mah,discharge rate ,voltage,and any other if i need to know.I also want to know whether I can use mobile phone batteries in RC planes,if yes how can i convert them so they are suitable for my RC plane.I would also like to know about how to select my props.thank you for your help.

i am not sure weather you can use mobile phone battery or not.. i think you cannot use mobile phone batteries coz they have low discharge rate... and almost all brands are good... regarding discharge rate. it is the C rating of your battery .. i.e C multiplied by capacity of your battery(mAh) is discharge of your battery.. for more deep info kindly google your question or spend some time on rcindia and find old posts.. you will get all information here.... regards |
