RC India - Flying and racing with open minds !

I have been looking for a big foamy for a while.  Been looking at some in the US, especially the ones with removable wings. Finally, a good friend who is also a commercial pilot volunteered to carry them Salute

Product page at DW Foamies

The depron quality is very nice on these, and they are pretty thick at 9mm.

Just un-boxed. Got the Scorpion motor combo as the power system.

Funny thing is that they even supply a knife in the kit !

Finished building, and took her to the field.  Looks more like a .46 size glow bird, with its 12x6 prop and all !  Fits in the car fine, although the wings can be removed.

Will have to measure the wing area to get wing loading. BTW, do people take into account the horizontal tail plane in calculating wing loading ?

No I doubt. It would be just the main wing area as it would be major area deciding the lift.
