Today we maidened the Thunder Tiger Imagine 50 (Electric) : Designed by famous Tsugutaka Yoshioka from Japan Specification: Wing Span: 54 " Wing area: 554 sq. in. Length: 55 " Weight: 5.5 - 5.75 lbs. Engine: .40 - .46 2-Cycle .52 - .72 4-Cycle Though originally a Glow Plane I converted it to electric with the following Power Set up Specs as follows : Motor : RCFORALL DY 4130/6T ESC : RCFORALL DY 80 amps with external BEC Battery : 2 x 11.1 4200 RCFORALL DY Lipo batteries Prop : APCE 15 x 8. I forgot to take the camera and Saju was down with fever so no Photos or Video this week >:( The plane looks exactly like this TT Photo just to give you an Idea . It flies great and is one of the best aerobatic plane we have flown till today very agile and nimble and is very graceful in flight. She is very stable on invert roll or loop as you see in this video The electric power set up is a bit of over powering but is great on this bird . Sai |
