9gm servo will be over kill for this. This is a very small plane choosing correct power system will be very difficult. i'd wait for more experience members to comment.

Hi sathish,

If following any plan (which not only gives details but also shows how plane perform) for this plane then it's fine go for it.

However if you building by your own design please refer Mr. Moss design your wing mount to fuse looks different from it. Link for Mr. moss

Thanks,

Since no one has pitched in yet, i'm gonna go ahead and give my opinion. I'm afraid your plane is already too heavy Sad for that wing i'd aim for 100 grm final weight with all gear installed. If you are a new builder, spend some time building bigger planes first. They are easier to build, easier to fly and much more fun over all Thumbs Up

I agree!!!!!

this plane is definitely not for beginner....if ur experienced then its fine...it cannot handle windy conditions...

i think u have used aluminium U channel for fuse, this is making it heavy...u can use 5mm coro or biofoam with reinforcement for fuse to make it more light....

for ur plane, try micro servos, 3.7gm or 5gm servos. 10A ESC and 10gm turnigy 1811 motor from HK is best suited...with 2s 200mAh battery

check my 20" build at:
http://www.rcindia.org/electric-planes/small-20'-wingspan-plane-from-scrap-biofoam!!!!!!/

you will get some idea... sometimes, even i struggle to keep this bird in control.....

weight of my plane is around 100gm with everything except battery.. and i have to fly it at half throttle..if i push full throttle it becomes uncontrollable...

hope this will help!!!!.

all the best
