FT MIGHTY MINI ARROW SPECS
Weight without battery: 6 oz (170 g)

Control Surface Throws: 12 ˚ deflection (elevator/aileron/rudder) Expo 30%
Wingspan: 29 inches (736 mm)
Recommended Motor: 2300 kv 2204 size motor
Recommended Prop: 6 x 4.5 prop
Recommended ESC: 12 amp minimum
Recommended battery: 800 mAH 2s or 3s

1. Your model is very overweight!
2. Motor/Prop/ESC  specs given
3. A 2S battery weighs 30% less than the same 3S battery! Also, a 75C battery is much heavier than a 20C battery, which, for 12 A max load is all you need (800 mAh)

Yes sir it is overweight. I have already ordered a 2204 2300kv motor, with a 5 inch prop. I would consider the battery for later on. Thanks sir . Would update you on it.

Good luck  Thumbs Up

Do try to reduce the weight if you can. These FT models are very weight sensitive

His model weighs 80% more than the original design (both without battery). He will need much more thrust to fly. I don't see how replacing a 3s for 2s battery will help, won't it provide lesser thrust which is more important here than the marginal weight reduction (~25 grams)?  I think he definitely needs a bigger motor if he wants it to fly at all. The mini arrow is a racing wing, I can only imagine what a much heavier, faster version of it will fly like. Grin

Just a hunch. Please feel free to correct me.

I did not specifically advocate the use of a 2S, just pointed out the weight overshot already

No point in increasing thrust without reducing weight; this model at this weight with a larger motor is going to need a real expert to fly

Well materials can be arranged sir, and looking at your build posts, i think you can make anything fly sir. So i also want to be like you. For now sunpack(corosheet) and sunboard and depron(6mm) is all i have sir. Electronics and all can be arranged.

The Newbie Might as well go through the RCIndia Gems on plane building rather, would help him to keep from shooting arrows in the dark.

Ft mini Corsair is one of the good plane for intermediate level flyer's. If you are new so dont go directly on corsair. Even if you are new to this and friendly with controlling high speed and your reflexes are developed to take judgement at high speeds then You can surely go for corsair.
