RC India - Flying and racing with open minds !

Can you take apart and post some pictures of the "squaring" setup you made to line things up ? Most people would just use a right angle piece of foam to do the same (although the results would never be as good!) Thumbs Up

thanks Anwar!!!!

about that squaring setup, since the plane is almost ready it has been cut and thrown away!!!!

after setting up, i glued the fuss and after that these supports has to be cut down to take out!!!!

this setup is very nice for right angle and to keep the things in one place while ur sticking it up!!!! but only issue is u have to use foam safe thin/medium glue (like Evotite) so that it will flow and get in the slots of the fuss!!!!

i got this idea while hunting for some plans and downloaded Great planes Yak-54 made up from 3 mm material, they have used same method for fuss, and find its really helpful.

i am uploading few pages of that pdf, as complete pdf is of 2Mbs

for Ujjwaana, i am also uploading plan i used, it was designed by Gene Bond, i reduced it to 16" size

Thanks Ashish, but I would suggest you not to attach the PDF in this forum as it might cause copy right violation .

Me too saw the Zig in the same GratePlanes YAK-54 manual first time. Did you cut the Zig ad-hoc or you have a cut out plan for them on pdf ? if you have made the cut out plan, you may post that here as it would be your own effort.

Keep the good work.

I earnestly apologies Ashish. I think I picked up this thread in my morning sleep so made a mess. so made the correction.

Please see the Forum FAQ regarding posting PDF/files. If you are simply referring to original file/PDF posted some member on other R/C forum, its better post the URL instead of the actual file.
If you are modifying the plan, better contact the original author seeking permission and also put the URL of the original thread.

Nothing hard and fast, just NEtiquettes !
