Hi friends,

I bought a micro brushless Outrunner Avionics 1818 (along with a 500 mah Lipo, prop etc) from RC Bazaar about 10 days back.
I tested the motor at arrival and it ran perfectly well on my 25amps ESC with the supplied Lipo.

I started building a thermocol small plane for this motor.. but as I fixed this motor on my plane it refused to take even a full revolution and started jerking to and fro..

I have tried the esc and motor combination to my other outrunner motor which runs okay.. I wonder what a pethatic motor is this which could not even survide a for second run.

there was no mis-handling on my part on this motor as I carried this motor with due attention.

I contacted RCB but they are asking to check the ESC and say "this happens due to insufficient current draw" I am very disappointed and don't know what to do.

check the wires of the motor... there might be a loose connection... or one of the winding may have been broken...

test via multimeter

I have checked the gold connectors they are okay

cirtainly will check the continuty .. maybe something went inside the motor .. but the wires inside are so flimsy to break so easily without any use? what a hopeless motor is this.

Are you able to do a throttle calibration?
Looks like the ESC does not see all three motor leads could be due to a motor/ ESC wiring/ connector issue

had this one before..

This might be your problem,

the rear shaft protrudes a little outwards and might be stuck with the thermacole or plywood mount/firewall that you are using. check if the motor can rotate freely by hand.

I looked into it through air vent with a lense and torch.. it showed a broken wire inside.

I have opened it up for rewinding..
the copperwire they have used for the winding is of very poor quality..
