Title: Battery charging and balancing Post by: pankaj on December 17, 2010, 03:45:51 AM Balanced charging is almost necessary for Lipo batteries but can't we Directly charge the battery using the discharge leads and balance the cells with a balancer every now and then.

I have a 2200 mah 3s battery In my charger what current should i set 2200 or 85 to 90 % of it? i am charging it by setting the current as 2000 mah. Title: Re: Battery charging and balancing Post by: pankaj on December 17, 2010, 07:21:56 AM it all dpends on C rating of battery . there are two C ratings one for charging and other for discharging ..most batteries can be charged at 1C SO 2200ma won't be a problem ...but for more charge cycles (more LIFE) you should charge at low level (500ma) if you are not in HURRY 8-).
