There is no way you could use that prop on the motor. It will fry up. You could use an APC 6x4 prop for descent thrust. Sent from my GT-N7100 using Tapatalk 2 Title: Re: Can i Use 10*4.5 prop on 2200kv motor Post by: ramarao on July 18, 2013, 11:53:55 PM Thank you sundaram sir :) :) :) :)

may be its Ok with throttle management on 2s Title: Re: Re: Can i Use 10*4.5 prop on 2200kv motor Post by: arun.sreelakam on July 23, 2013, 07:49:12 AM Arjun did you mean spinning a 11" prop at 15000+ rpm..?
Can I know what amp it consumed and the thrust produced..? I am using a 6" prop and 3s, motor getting hot under 15min... i was using a 30AMP ESC ....since i didn't wanted to spend money on this build i used what i had laying around ... i don't about the amps consumed.... flying weight of the plane was 600 to 700grms .... since it was a nightflyer i used a different battery pack for lights ( 3s 500 mah) about thrust ... the plane took off at less then half throttle with in 5 to 8 feet ...flew it half throttle mostly and got 10 to 15 minutes of flight time.... motor was bit hot but nothing serious ...motor and esc are still just fine.. have some videos pictures will post it in .... |
