basically these fans are meant for cooling the pc or anyother equipment with constant flow of air where these fans rotate at constant speed ,as you said these are brushless but not directly 12v supply is given to a small tiny board inside the motor which converts 12vdc into ac just like ESC ,but they will have less poles compared to normal rc BL motor's but one thing the fans fitted(propeller) can be used they have good aerodynamic properties! but to rotate at gud speed u need gud BL motor !
