Which motor is good for edf units, a low kv or a high kv motor.? Head Scratching

It depends upon the power needed and motor specs..
Some are using 1500kv motors with 4s-6s lipo
some are using 3500-4000kv motor with 3s lipo..
All with respect to the power weight ratio... SmileySmiley

For bigger dia fans, go for lower KV motor. For smaller dia fans, go for higher KV motor.

 The import part is motor wattage & higher voltage motors (6S or more) give you good results.
