Practice, and only Practice will make you perfect

Experience regarding all motors goes in here, OEM Given data, your experience/ experiments etc.I request you to restrict it to only motors and supporting hardware, irrelevant comments, questions will make the thread difficult to read and readers have to sieve through, making it (a) uninteresting (b) difficult Thumbs Up

This is data for EMAX motors which predominantly Rc Dhamaka is selling. I am using 2215 2218 and 3520, Performance exceeds the claim, it is i think made in Germany, Price is great, Manual for the motor is in German. need to use online translator

Edit: added a Jpeg image for easy view

A small leak can sink a great ship.

in RC only no. of things can be generalised ... i am trying here to generalise some parameters of motors(brushed and brushless).
1)Increase the diameter: lower Kv , more torque ,lesser efficiency , thick shaft
2)Increase the length of can :high Kv ,lesser torque , high efficiency , thin shaft
3)Increase the strength of magnets:high torue , Reduced Kv(that's why motor kv increases with time)
4)increase no. of turns: high torque ,decreased Kv(normally done by using multi strand wiring)

*although these things are true in general  , for our applications these things are applied when power rating of two motor are almost similar.
