Manual shows something called a ubec connected to receiver.....
I am using a avionic Rcb 61 Rx......
I don't have a ubec... Any solution?

The two wires are black and white...middle place is vacant

I have seen the black and white type. For that you just have to power the receiver via externally and connect the ESC normally. I mean connect the ESC with the throttle channel in the receiver and connect an external power source to the power pins in the receiver. This should solve your problem. And for the first case I don't know how that works.

The input power should be about 5.5 volt and 3 amps fyi

Use a UBEC

That ESC is without a bec in built, ( so it's a loss of money for you bro)

Wait it can't be 7.4 volt or 3.7 volt???
I mean 5.5 volt is specific?? Or is it max value...

This should clear your doubts and the doubts of those who come here in the future through search.

No it's not max value , it's just what normal receivers need and what most ESC with inbuilt bec provides.

But there are many difference in the power needed for the receivers of different brands
Look at the manual of the receiver you got and buy a UBEC that is compatible.

No, it's better to use something around 5.5V, so that you don't destroy your 1 grand ESC. Get a voltage regulator and set it up; no worries.

Rc bazaar also has this stuff but higher cost. (If you want it fast then buy it from RCb)

If you like to use batteries , then it would work too. Like I said 5 -6 v and 3 A

Oh ....so ubec is compulsory.....
Damn it will add weight.....I was planning to connect. A small lipo.....
Rcb I feel has ...old electronics..I mean of and heavy .....Purana technology Ka circuit.....XD...
Have no option I suppose....thx for help. I was afraid I brought a ESC that won't work with airplanes...😎

I'll read a little about how to add battery...and regulate voltage
....I lack  knowledge about this field ( arts student )
Once agn thx for help.much appreciated.

Bro believe me , using bec is 10x better than batteries in the long run. As the output voltage of a battery is always varying and may damage your receiver in the long run
. The best thing about UBEC is that you only need one as long as you fly one at a time.

Ouch....I think I fried my Rx...here is what happened...
I connected the Rx to a 3.7 volt lipo..it was working fine ...I just wanted to test so that motors could be soldered correctly...
Then my setup was ready..I wanted to save weight so instead of using a external lipo I connected the Rx to the balance leads of the main battery to which the esc was connected....
Short circuit smoke...rip 1000 bucks..😥😥

Broo 3.7 v decreases the sensitivity of the receiver thus decreasing the range and also the servos will be underpowered

Should have ordered a ubec instead...
Got ahead of myself...:-(

Oh!  You must have connected it to 7.4V. For Rx you need regulated 5V supply.
Use a LM7805 or 78l05 regulator IC to power it, you can
Google the circuit diagram.
