I am beginner and accumulating components for an electric. I think building a plane is equivalent to designing a car. Engine, weight, expected speed, torque, tyres everything has to fall in place. It depends on the application of the car wheather a F1 racer or a heavy duty tractor. One just can not pickup the question like what tyres I should use for a car??

According to my reading on this forum, a bigger prop will give more thrust but not speed and vice versa. So the question boils down to what you want your plane to do??

Veterans please correct me if I am wrong.

Dear Banboy10, I am making all these statements presuming you are really a beginner. If it is otherwise just ignore.

As far as where to get is concerned, http://www.rcindia.org/rc-outlets-and-resellers/mega-list-of-all-rc-outlets-in-india/ may help.

For models like these, the typical prop size is something around 5x5.  Some people upgrade to 6x4 with better motors, but you may have to trim off a bit of foam since the prop tends to touch it.

They are available in LHSes, here is a sample (I did not search others)...
