i dont have any complex shape, but it has thread on it to fasten nut with prop. it is not needed since i have a prop saver. If i can machine it, then what material should i choose?

Before you attempt anything else, just swing by the neighborhood auto/mechanical workshop (the ones that do lathe stuff) and see if they can help you.
