The ratings may be tempting but it is better to go for a tried and tested motor - one with reviews. Im saying this because you are a beginner and a malfunction/underperformance may be expenssive for you.

Title: Re: Hobbyking Donkey Motor Post by: rajathv8 on May 08, 2011, 07:45:04 PM This motor produces 900-1000 gms thrust with 11 inch prop so with 9inch the thrust will be lesser. At 17A cuttent you will need a 25A ESC to be safe. I think its expenssive for $14.
