HDD Motors are same as normal brushless motor. the only difference is the Magnet, HDD motor has a single black flexible magnet, whereas rc brushless has many small magnet, use a normal brushless esc to run the motor.

HDD motors are same as common BLDC motors so they can run using BLDC ESCs, Most of them comes with 4 pins(3 pins for powering through ESC and One for feedback), Feedback pin can find out using a multimeter, Just ignore the feedback pin and connect other pins should work.
