Can you post the model number (or a link) to your charger ?

These come in various flavors with various colored LEDs with various type of blinking etc and they all mean different things.

First Check individual battery voltage using a multimeter. if any of the cell is faulty...do not try to charge in THAT charger. use a good quality charger which has a tickle charging facility......
For 2212/13,u can use 3cell pack
Good seller is Sai.

Once i also faced similar issue while charging battery with same charger....end result was...one cell was faulty....and showing only 1.7v......i tried to tickle charge that particular cell.....but failed....so i opened the pack and convert the same to a 2 cell pack..and is working fine till date...

Both LEDs blinking on this charger means something wrong with the battery. Most likely you over discharged it. In this case, you have to try "trickle" charging it (at .1A or .15A or .2A, the lowest available) until the cells have enough charge (volts), using a better charger like Sandeep suggested (if you have friends with a better charger, take their help).

As far as a new battery is concerned, you can pick any one that is easy for you (preferably 3s).  Be mindful about the weight, if you pick one with more mAH. As far as stores are concerned, you know which ones to avoid based on the discussions here, the rest is entirely upto you ;)

for moss you can easily take 1800mah battery without issue..but after 1800mah...weight will be an issue........

You will see a thin metal strip connected to the Li-po cell which is damaged. carefully cut the strip and the output wire and remove the damaged cell.
NOTE: chances of getting the middle cell damaged is remote. only +ve side cell is mostly prone to damage, don't know the reason)
after removing the damaged cell carefully remove the charging connector wire from the cell (between +ve and -ve  terminal of two cells). now there will be three charging wires coming out of the pack instead of 4. in some cases you have to replace the charging connector to fit the 2 cell pack connector of the charger.

Firstly, it is "trickle" charge. Secondly, from the info available on your link, the charger you have does not seem to support adjustable charging rates. You would need a programmable one for this. Trickle charge is usually considered to be at 10% of the rated capacity. It is virtually impossible to "overcharge" any battery at this charging current.

This has been mentioned before... always work with one wire of the lipo, and finish it (solder, shrink wrap etc) before opening and exposing another one.  Most of the time, accidental shorting of exposed leads is the cause of lipos getting damaged (or even causing fires).

My 1350mAh/11.1 V LiPo battery was bulging out so I tried to open it and found that the middle cell was puffy while the other two cells were normal. I carefully tried to remove the cell.  Some pictures attached below. I just want to know how to use the remaining two cells :headscratch:

If you are able to connect them like in the above picture (http://www.rcindia.org/electric-power/lipo-charger-shows-battery-is-wrong/msg12455/#msg12455), and you are seeing a voltage in each remaining cell between 3 and 4.2 volts (6v to 8.4v across the whole pack), you can use it as a 2s pack.

Remember that the idea is to connect them in "series".

Please be very careful about connecting the remaining packs together though.

I have tried converting such things, The problem I faced was that, unless you connect those batteries back to the PCB, it is difficult to manage the soldered wire from getting pulled off when using the battery, as the battery terminals are thin strips and are very very fragile. From my experience (not to disappoint you guys), its better to throw such things and buy new ones as HC sells them at very cheap prices. Really not worth the time spent according to me. Not worth risking the flying model.

Also the middle battery is dangerously puffed, dispose it of ASAP, dont store it on any wooden shelf etc. Nothing may happen, but still not a good idea. Also Never ever charge it.

Oops! one of the terminals of the cell broke while handling >:(  and now its better to throw away the set. I have already ordered for new battery from Mr. Sai
