hello friends..
i bought emax MT2216 810kv motors.. and want to know what max size prop i can use with these motor???
recommended prop ( max size ) 11X4.7 with 3S battery.. but with 4S they recommend 1045 and 10X3.8 only..
i want to know can i use 11X4.7 with 4S battery or not??
using 30 Amps ESC..

and one thing more is there any difference in the thrust produced by C.F props and plastic prop?? ( like more or less using same prop 1045 plastic vs 1045 cf)

I'm assuming you're going to use the motors for a quadcopter.
First, calculate how many amps your battery can deliver. That is the capacity (mah) multiplied by the C Rating (20c, 35c, etc)
Example: 4000mAh battery with 20c rating will give you 80 Amps.
Then divide the number by 4, since you're gonna power 4 motors by the same battery. If you're using multiple batteries, take the total amps they can provide.
Now you're gonna get a number, say 20 Amps. You can go max 20 Amp with you're motor+prop setup.
Now look up the chart, I can't see the image properly, look for the thrust provided by each prop and the current drawn by it. Since you're using 4 motors, you can multiply the thrust by 4, and this number should be greater than/equal to two times (or 1.5 if you're a beginner) the total weight of your quad (frame, controller, esc, motor, battery etc everything). As long as you meet the weight and amp criteria, you're good.
I hope I was clear enough. Scale up those numbers if you're using more number of motors.

To answer your second question:
You can use any prop with any battery, provided your power system can handle the heat. Basically, all the amps and volts boil down to the total power(Watts) used up by the system(battery esc motor prop). Each cell provides an average 3.7V, so a 3 cell battery will provide 11.1V and a 4s will provide 14.8V. You take those volt reading and multiply it with the max amps you're going to draw. That will give you the total power you'll be using. As long as you stay within the recommended Watts you'll be good. You may find on good quality systems that you can safely go over the recommended watts, but that will lead to a short life of your system. 

And, final question:
As far as I know, there shouldn't be any difference between various materials of prop, but don't quote me on that. The only thing which matter is the diameter and the pitch. Example 1045 means the prop is 10 inches in diameter and has a pitch of 45. Its only those things which matter. Look up wiki for more info on props.

Why do they recommend a smaller prop with a 4s?
Must be a reason, no?
Think about it...
Or check the current draw with an ammeter/wattmeter!
No problem if your motors & ESCs can handle it.

Your motor runs at higher rpm with 4s than a 3s. Putting a smaller prop will make the system efficient and cool and inside the safe limits.

Hello My 2 cents here....

Any motor with any battery will work... Provided a. ESC is correct Voltage    b. On NO load to motor.

when load on motor.....

Battery should be capable to give the PULLED Amps
ESC should be capable of handling the pulled Amps
Motor ( Winding ) should be capable to take the Amps
Wires ( from battery  ESC should be capable to handle the Amps

if all works well, it will be an efficient system else something will get burnt post excessive heat.
It depends how long the system sustains or it can handle heat before things burn out.

Example.  you can use a mentioned 2s motor in 3s battery and fly successfully by giving full throttle in bursts but may end up burning it on continuous run at full throttle.

Material of prop
1. A plastic prop will break at a simple crash whereas a CF may sustain hard crash as well
2. a plastic ( flexible) prop at high rpm may become straight and change pitch ( try using plastic 5x3 prop on 2800 Kv motor at 3s)
    but a CF prop will not.

this motor will give thrust 1100g with 4s battery and 10x3.8 prop...i think this much thrust would be enough for my qaud...
weight around... 2.1kg (1100 X 4= 4400g)

Despite the common belief, cf props breaks more readily than plastic ones. But they hold their shape in high rpm and much lighter compared to apc counterparts.

red somewhere that cf props gives less thrust as compare to plastic prop.. :'( :'(..
