Title: Motor winding and issues
Post by: Maheshwaran on January 05, 2015, 07:56:14 PM
I am Maheshwaran being a Electrical engineer nearing graduation i feel a bit  :headscratch:(feel of the smiley)  to ask this question, but i feel this is the very right place to put my questions as none of my college professors can help me out with this.

1. How to rewind a motor?

2. How to determine its KV rating during rewinding? Does it really count on the winding alone?

3. What guage of wire to use for rewinding, does it alter the rating of motor?

4. What factors are to be calculated during winding?

assuming the poles are fixed plz help in DIYing motor winding in case of winding burn or the wire is cut during crash.

Thanks in advance for all your researches and answers for posting a reply in the post
