A very nice thread indeed. Smiley

I think these brands differ mostly in terms of build quality. Smoother bearings and quietly rotating motors are what the multirotor community wants now. Smiley
Obviously with smoother motors, you get better flight characteristics, and there should be a slight improvement in the flight time as well.
However, threads are floating around saying, if you're buying any motor above $50, you're only paying for a rebranded, re-stickered $30-ish motor. I wonder to what extent this is true.
But in the end, the build quality matters very little to a hobbyist seeking mere fun. (Not a prof. FPVer or an APer) Selecting the right motor-ESC-prop combo with good FC tuning is what it takes.

Sorry but I am answering only as a multirotor guy.
I'm curious to know what the seniors have to say. Smiley

That can be true. T-motors are kinda known for their 'ultra-smooth' working. I don't know if 36min is possible with 2200mAh, but some have managed around 20-25 min.

I don't think there's any big secret behind that flight time. Maybe just a perfect combination of quality of motors, right prop size, minimum weight (remember?, his frame was all carbon-fiber) and good flying techniques (no rapid throttle, just hovering around, etc.)
