2kgs is way to heavy. The weight of the plane should be around 600-800 gms or less.

Welcome  to  Rcindia  family  bessi

the material  you  want  to  Use  is   " Coro "

i am a  newbie  too ...  and  building  my  first  plane

A  beginner  or  Trainer  plane  will  never  Weigh  more  than 600-700 gm  For a foam model  and  for  coro  it  may be 1 kg  at  the  most          even  i thought  that  to  use a motor enough  for  2Kg  :giggle:  :giggle:

for  a  plane  most  of  the  things  depend  on it's  weight.   (all  configurations  are inter connected & can  be changed  as  per our needs >> like You already have a Li-Po.)

What  i am going  to use in my plane  are

Motor : Emax1270 kv motor (for 500-800 gm  models)   = Rs 726
ESC : Mystery 30A.   = Rs  850
Propeller : 9*4.7  = Rs 115.6

you can  get them in www.Rcdhamaka.com (http://www.Rcdhamaka.com)  and  www.rchobbyaddict.com (http://www.rchobbyaddict.com)

if  you need  a  Transmitter   or   ARF   planes  visit   flying--rc.blogspot.com/search/label/ELECTRICS. (http://flying--rc.blogspot.com/search/label/ELECTRICS.)

hope  this  helps ...

but  wait  for  seniors  advice ...          The  above  stated  parts  are  compatible  with  your  Li-Po    and  available  in India :salute:
  for  a 500-800 gm  plane .  :P

Not really... if you build a spad out of coro, 2kg is not totally unusual (even though reducing the weight would help).  Most people put glow engines on such planes though.

Bessie - What plan did you follow (you have a web link) ? What is the wingspan ?  Most motors sold in local stores cater to models with smaller AUW.

Have you checked out "RCForAll" ?  And the "Mega List of RC Outlets" ?  (If not, just search for these in the search box on top left).

For example, on choice would be this motor : http://rcforall.co.in/product_info.php/cPath/42_46/products_id/284  with a 45A ESC and 11x6 prop would work, if you AUW is around 2kg (you are close to the upper limit of this motor, so make sure you are not guessing the AUW).

for plane of weight about 2kg the cost will go high dude
choose esc=50-100 amp depending upon the motor
and your lipo is pretty useless
are you  sure that your weight is about 2kg

i think its better to use glow  for this thrust
